Making the Most of Law School

A true Carteret County native, Joshua was born and raised in Morehead City. During law school, he focused his course load in criminal law while doing intern work for the Harnett County District Attorney’s office.


Honing His Knowledge and Skills

Attorney Tetterton went on to work for a private criminal defense firm in Wake County. While there, he gained knowledge in legal methods and how to handle misdemeanor and felony charges in district and superior court. As a lifelong North Carolinian, he has a deep understanding of the state and local legal processes. He also has extensive experience in providing legal representation against a wide array of offenses including:

Giving Back to the Community

Attorney Tetterton is an Eagle Scout and a community volunteer with organizations such as the Beaufort Historical Association. He is also a nominating council member for the Boy Scouts of America™, and has served as a board member for the Carteret County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council.
